My Journey
Hello there! My name is Shannon. I am a 43-year-old mother of an almost 9-year-old. I am a beach girl from the Wilmington area, but I transplanted to the Charlotte area many years ago. I was interested in massage from a young age. I enjoyed massaging family and friends, for relaxation or pain relief. They would always tell me how I had a knack for it and that I should pursue a career in massage therapy. Like many, I let life and fear of failure get in the way of this dream for far too long. Before my career as a massage therapist, I was a small business owner. However, my passion for helping others heal from pain and trauma; both emotional and physical finally prevailed.
I graduated at the top of my class from the 600-hour program at Therapeutic Massage Training Institute in Charlotte, N.C. I am trained in multiple modalities and actively pursue professional development to stay current in my field.
